Yes. We provide free daily chats — a fixed number of free messages per day, refreshed every 24 hours, with no signup or payment required.

The free tier has a daily message quota. If you hit the daily limit, you can wait for the 24-hour refresh or optionally purchase premium chats. Premium is never required.

No. The free tier never requires payment information. Premium chats can be purchased without creating an account.

No. SillyTavern Online runs anonymously. No email, no phone, no password, no account creation required for the free tier.

No. SillyTavern Online includes hosted AI models — no third-party API key needed.

The original is a frontend interface — it doesn't include AI models. Users have to bring their own OpenAI, Claude, or other LLM API keys. SillyTavern Online removes this by hosting models server-side.

Yes. SillyTavern Online is fully mobile-friendly — it works on iPhone, Android, and tablets through any modern browser. No app install required.

No native app — and no app needed. The browser version works identically to a native app, including PWA "Add to Home Screen" support for one-tap launch.

Yes, for users 18 and over. Adult content is opt-in via the NSFW toggle in the page header. Age verification is required when first enabling.

Click the "NSFW" toggle in the top right of any page. On first activation, you'll be asked to confirm you're 18 or older.

The default SFW experience is suitable for general audiences. NSFW content is gated behind age verification. We do not knowingly allow users under 18 to access adult content.

We retain conversations to provide chat history within your session. We do not sell conversation content, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.

Conversations are processed on our servers (so they are not "end-to-end encrypted" in the strict sense). For users requiring fully local processing, the open-source self-hosted SillyTavern remains the right choice.
